Hamburger Soup

A slow-cooked soup that makes a hearty and satisfying meal. Recipe by: Cindy Granger Ingredients 8 h 25 m 6 servings 492 cals 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef  2 large potatoes, sliced  2 stalks celery, sliced  salt and pepper to taste  2 onions, thinly sliced  1 (15 ounce) can peas  3 small carrots, sliced  1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup  1 1/4 cups water  Directions Prep  15 m Cook  10 m Ready In  8 h 25 m 1- Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside. 2- Place a the potatoes in a layer to cover the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle the celery over the potatoes, and cover with a layer of ground beef. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Throw in the carrots, onions and peas. Sweet and Spicy Grilled Shrimp

This is something a little more flavorful for grilling shrimp. This recipe is also delicious brushed onto bacon wrapped shrimp.  Recipe by: TheGoddessGiGi Ingredients 10 m 4 servings 231 cals 6 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes  1/2 cup chile-garlic sauce  1/2 cup honey  1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined Directions Prep     1 0 m Cook      10 m Ready In  20 m 1- Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate. 2- Stir chile-garlic sauce and honey together in a small bowl. Thread shrimp onto soaked bamboo skewers, piercing through the head and tail ends. 3- Cook the skewers on the preheated grill, frequently turning and basting with the sauce mixture, until shrimp are firm and pink on all sides, about 10 minutes. Dijon Garlic Salmon

Salmon is delightful with Dijon mustard, garlic, onion, and a bit of tarragon. I created this dish for the low-carb diet I was on. Enjoy Recipe by: Randy Fortel  Ingredients 35 m 4 servings 310 cals 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets  1/3 cup Dijon mustard  4 large cloves garlic, thinly sliced  1 red onion, thinly sliced  1 teaspoon dried tarragon  salt and pepper to taste Directions Prep           15 m Cook          20 m Ready In    35 m 1- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray. 2- Arrange the salmon skin side down in the prepared pan, and lightly coat with the Dijon mustard. Place the garlic and onion slices on the salmon fillets. Season with tarragon, salt, and pepper. 3- Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until salmon is easily flaked with a fork. Source:www.allrecipes.com
